I’ve also really enjoyed strips of tofu (bulgogi sauce and barbequed) I’ve been served when I’ve ordered bi bim bap a couple of times.Yes, side dishes are critical! We have a few recipes we’ve picked up over the years, really technique more than recipe. Fresh picked daikon, bean sprouts quickly stir-fried with sesame oil, steamed spinach, a cucumber salad. I like to get the organic kim chee as well (safe from fish sauce and also damn tasty on bahn mi)
