Yum!! Everything looks wonderful! I'm new to your blog and rarely leave comments (bad Tina), but I love your posts. I started following a Vegan diet not long ago (I'm at about 90% right now because I'm having a hard time kicking milk chocolate. eek), and I'm finding blogs like yours very very helpful so THANK YOU for all the hard work!

One question.....What dressing did you use for the carrot/daikon salad?

Cheers!

Thanks so much! I've loved reclaiming Japanese food as fabulously Veganized! I really want to reproduce the relish, it was wonderful. I was eating just it on the sushi rice!

We often just enjoy steamed kale with chickpeas and a little sauce as our dinner, sometimes with a grain but mostly just like that. Kale is pretty much always a winner for us!

I love your site of "under represented vegetables" - it reminds me that I need to try those Jerusalem artichokes in my fridge!

I love everything about this soup! Chickpeas and kale are always in my kitchen. Strangely enough, I've been experimenting with cabbage quite a bit lately. Thanks for the inspiration!

Hope you like the cabbage! This is so simple it nearly falls into the category of things I don't think to post a recipe for, but I was on a roll with the lemon pulao and the dal, so I posted it up. I snapped a picture too and will add. I need to get one of the pulao, it turned out fabulously. The dal... it is coming along. The first attempt followed the recipe, but when I got home Christie told me to make it taste more like it came from an Indian restaurant and I winged it. So yeah.... it isn't there yet. Certainly not fast cooking like the red lentils I saw on your site!
